No tests have been published about hydrogen peroxide’s effectiveness against the most recent strain of coronavirus, hydrogen peroxide has been found to be extremely effective against other strains of coronavirus. Homage Essentials & Co Products can be used on non-porous surfaces such as tile, granite, glass, grout, and ceramic with probably no problems at all. For other surfaces, especially those that are varnished or plastic, do a quick test to make sure it won't affect the surface.

A dark bottle for mixed solution is not necessary if you are diligent about storing the bottle in a dark cabinet. If you want to leave the bottle on the counter, We recommend a dark bottle to block out the UV rays. The UV in sunlight breaks down the hydrogen peroxide over time, keeping the cleaning solution in the dark helps to preserve the potency of the peroxide.

Yes! Our Laundry Detergent & Homage 360+ Sprayable Cleaning Gel works amazing on carpets. As a recommendation, test an inconspicuous area on your carpet first. Dilution ratios 1 part detergent/ gel with 4 parts water in a spray bottle. Spray dirty area and let sit for a moment. Rinse carpet thoroughly with clean water!The all-purpose cleaning concentrates, however, should not be used for carpets. If not rinsed thoroughly, the residue could end up attracting more dirt to your carpet.

The smell is the hydrogen peroxide. There is no added fragrance in our "fragrance free option." You can add a few drops of a clear essential oil to your spray bottle.

Mix 1 part Homage Essentials concentrate with 4 equal parts water.

Mix 1 part Homage 360+ concentrated gel with 4 equal parts water. Shake in spray bottle or stir in our measure and mix pitcher. Gel may need a few minute or more to thicken after dilution. 

Yes! Our laundry products are safe to use in every washing machine type. However, I do not recommend using any of our all-purpose cleaning concentrates or spray gels as detergent in the washing machine.

If the concentrates are diluted according to the mixing instructions, which is 1 part concentrate to 4 parts water, I recommend rinsing on reflective surface like glass. If you make a weaker solution (i.e. using more water to dilute the concentrates than is recommended), or if you use it on a non-reflective surface, you might be able to wipe it off with no residue. You can play around with what works best for you.

Hydrogen peroxide oxidizes certain organic matter--that's how it kills germs. If the product is used for a long time on ungloved hands, the hydrogen peroxide will oxidize and turn your skin white. If this happens I recommend using gloves.However, gloves are HIGHLY recommended for everyone when handling the 7% undiluted concentrate.

The hydrogen peroxide used in our products does not contain any stabilizers or preservatives. The shelf life is much shorter than that of the typical hydrogen peroxide you can purchase at the grocery or drug store. To maximize the potency of the hydrogen peroxide we recommend keeping it stored in a dark bottle at room temperature or colder, never store in a metal container, and using distilled water when diluting. Peroxide is highly reactive with metals. If there are any minerals or metal in the water you are using to dilute the Homage Essentials & Co Concentrate, the minerals in the water will react with the hydrogen peroxide and will weaken the solution.

Probably because you diluted it with plain tap water, and/or you have it stored in a metal container, and/or something has contaminated your solution and has reacted with the hydrogen peroxide, and/or it's been sitting unused for a long period of time. My recommendation is to keep it in a dark clean bottle, diluted only with distilled water. If you are going to store the products for an extended time (a month or more), keep the caps screwed on loosely so that the oxygen can escape.
